Toni Kroos Praises Manchester United, A Hint?

Manchester United would have a chance to experience the quality of their long term transfer target as they file out against Toni Kroos and his Bayern Munich team mates on Tuesday night in the UEFA Champions League first leg quarter final match.

Kross’contract with the reigning European champions would end this season and the Red Devils are keen on signing him. They are reported to be willing to offer £25 million for the Bayern Munich star player.

In this quarter final clash with Bayern, United are largely considered by many pundits as the under dogs. But Toni Kroos himself is not dismissing the English side lightly. Soon after they were drawn against United, he appeared to have insinuated that the draw against United meant good bye to the semi final.

He told Bayern Munich official yotube page ahead of the yesterday’s encounter that “We cannot forget that they still have very players in their ranks and they still have their usual policy of a real fighting spirit…I think that it is clear we will need two very, very good days if we wish to do well against a team like United - we need two absolute top days to go through.”

He told the club’s YouTube channel that Bayern Munich needed two ‘absolute top’ performances to reach the semi-final. The question now is does speaking of their UEFA Champions League opponent and his potential suitor in such glowing terms translate in subtle interest in United?

The German club are however very optimistic that the player would still be at Allianz Arena come next season according to reports. As for where Kroos will be next season, only time will tell. . He is a very talented player who is a regular and integral part of Bayern Munich’s success story. But for us Man United fans, we can’t wait to have Toni Kroos at Old Trafford`
