David Moyes Still To Lure German With Big Salary Offer

Manchester United want Toni Kroos at Old Trafford next season and they want him real bad. They are reported to be willing to offer the German international a whopping £260,000 per week deal to lure the player down to Old Trafford. This is more than twice what he currently earns at Bayern Munich.

Several media houses have reported various figures as what United would be willing to offer the Bayern Munich player. But when a reputable source like the Guardian reports that Manchester United are willing to offer Kroos £260,000 per week, it is time to begin to listen with more attention.

Karl Heinz-Rumenigge has insisted that Toni Kroos is not for sale. But that was before United came with their mouth watering offer. £260,000 per week is really big money. This is about 33% higher than the highest paid player at Bayern Munich. This goes a long way to show how desperate United is.

The amount been offered is aimed at getting to make Kroos put pressure on Bayern Munich to allow him leave the Allianz arena. But whether the pressure would be strong enough to make the board of Bayern Munich cave in to their request is something else. You better believe me: Kroos is taking a long hard look at the figures been bandied and is weighing his options.

A lot seems to depend on Toni Kroos. The drama surrounding his future has gone on for too long, he should take a decision and spare us all the drama.

Would Kroos be willing to leave one of the best clubs in the world and the current German and UEFA champions for struggling United that are not even sure of qualifying for next season’s Champions League? If not the huge pay, what else would Kroos say is his motivating factor?
