5 Players United Are Likely To Sign This Summer

The rebuilding process has  began in Utd, World Cup bound Louis Van Gaal and Utd manager has made his list of needed players available to Old Trafford management with strict instruction – he needs at least four of the targets to be Utd players before the end of the global football showdown in Brazil. The surgery must begin according to Van Gaal at the rear- the defence where two have departed and of those left one is aged past his best and has only one more season.

If feelers from the Utd camp is anything to go by then there are players penciled by the coach we intend to look at.

In the very heart of defence two player were suggested, the highly experienced German Matt Hummels who plies is trade at Borussia Dortmund. Hummels is considered a very top player in his position and he has shown that over and over again in the course of the past season and the German national team. Getting Borussia Dortmund to do a deal on him might be a hard nut as he is under contract till 2017. However, if United wants to get this man a deal needs to be done before the commencement of the World cup in Brazil as his central defence partnership with Jerome Boateng might just incite Bayern Munich to get into the mix.

Jordy Clasie; Little is known about this new generation Dutch midfielder who plays for Feyernord, the word out there is ‘Jordy is the new Xavi’.  Playing alongside Sneijder and De Jong in midfield for the Dutch World Cup bound team, this is one player that Utd has a reasonable chance of signing due to the Van Gaal influence. And like Hummels a deal need to be done before mundial commences if not his value might hit the roof.

Kevin Strootman; another of Van Gaal national team player but unfortunately not World cup bound, this 24 yrs old international is the closest version to Utd ex Captain  Roy Keane. A typical box-box midfielder, member of a dying breed of footballers. We are yet to see if injury will stall Utd move or the dutch man will be dropping his Roman armour for the Devils pitch fork.

Luke ‘wonderkid’ Shaw;  voted the best left wing back in the EPL, this young English teenager would have to fill into the boots of Patrice Evra at Old Trafford supposing the rumours are true. He played alongside Lallana and Ricky Lambert in what was Southampton finest attacking side in over a decade.

Allianz Boys; Allianz Arena the famous ground of Bavaria’s finest club side Bayer Munich is set to lose one or two of their glory boys to Utd , yes of course if the right offers are made, Van Gaal is said to be interested in fellow Dutchman Robben, Germans Mueller, Shweinsteiger and Kroos. Whatever happens Old Trafford would be new home for one of the famous boys of the Allianz Arena.
